The Data Protection Act - 2018
Data held by the Castle and Regimental Museum at Monmouth will be:
1 - Fairly and lawfully processed.
2 - Obtained only for one or more specified and lawful purposes and not processed further in any manner that is incompatible with the original purpose.
3 - Adequate, relevant and not excessive.
4 - Accurate and, where necessary, up to date.
5 - Kept for no longer than necessary.
6 - Processed in accordance with the rights of data subjects under DPA98
7 - Protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
8 - Not transferred to countries outside the European Union unless there are adequate levels of data protection.
